Rawalpindi Court issues arrest warrants of Atiqa Odho

Additional and District Court has released arrest warrants of Atiqa Odho, popular Pakistani actress and main politician of Pervaiz Musharraf’s political party All Pakistan Muslim League in unlawful wine recovery lawsuit.

A local court of Rawalpindi comprising of Judge Hamyoon Pervaiz hearing the recovery of unlawful vine case against popular actress on Tuesday, directed that offender should be brought before the court on November 15. Taking notice of her continues absentee court has given arrest warrants of Atiqa Odho.

Earlier, Additional and District Session Judge Muhammad Iqbal Chadhar given her bail on the surety of 5,0000 rupees but she didn’t appear before the court after the verification of bail. It’s value mentioning here that Airport Security Force recovered 2 bottles of Black wine from Atiqa Odho when she reached at Islamabad Airport terminal for leaving to Karachi, but on the intervention of powerful persons she was allowed to depart for Karachi.
On Ateeqa release Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry took notice after 3 days Airport Police registered a claim against her .
